    They teleport to the town ahead, and hang around drinking and being merry. Until the main party shows up and drags them back into the whole "Save the world" thing. Poor guys.

    I always thought it was weird that only three could fight at once... and if they die, it's game over. Wouldn't it make sense for the rest of the team to take over in case that happened?

    That's why I liked FFXII's battle system; even though the whole courtesy system remained (Then again, it is a game so I'm not critical of the three person team) you could bring in your reserves, like an actual battle.
