Famous Gaming Duos
Help me compile a list of famous gaming duos. When I say duos, I means partner video game characters that are friends and often team up together or have a friendly rivallry, and are both relatively equal in terms of fighting ability/puzzle-solving ability/whatever ability they use for their game. Duos that are often not on good terms or are out to kill each other don't count. So duos like Sonic and Tails and Ryu and Ken would count, but not duos like Sonic and Shadow and Sub-Zero and Scorpion. Also, romantic relationships don't count unless they're often together gameplay wise, so Mario and Peach wouldn't count, but Lolo and Lala from Adventures of Lolo would count (yeah, she's rescued twice and teams up with Lolo only once, but the pair are always together in Kirby games and the Kirby anime).
Anyways, I'll start.
Mario & Luigi from the Mario series
Sonic & Tails from the Sonic series
Ryu & Ken from the Street Fighter series
BimmyBilly & Jimmy from the Double Dragon series
Liu Kang & Kung Lao from the Mortal Kombat series
Lolo and Lala from the Adventure of Lolo series (even though their series isn't exactly famous)
