I don't know. I just don't know. I can't see Ben as Batman, the girl they got for Wonder Woman looks too short, Eisenberg looks too young despite being 30 (a blessing, really) and I just can't see Irons as Alfred. I'm hoping for a hell of a lot of Michael Ketoning to take place in this movie.

Yeah, this isn't a part of the Nolan universe, and since that was more grounded in realism it's probably a good thing. I just think they're kidding themselves if they expect us to forget about it so quickly when the last Batman movie only came out two years ago.

I was willing to give this a shot when I thought it was some kind of spoof not related to Man of Steel. But now I know it is and, frankly, the idea of BA as Batman just rubs me the wrong way.
    Jack: How do you know?

Will: It's more of a feeling really.

Jack: Well, that's not scientific. Feeling isn't knowing. Feeling is believing. If you believe it, you can't know because there's no knowing what you believe. Then again, no one should believe what they know either. Once you know anything that anything becomes unbelievable if only by virtue of the fact you now... know it. You know?

    Will: No.

If Demolition Man were remade today

Huxley: What's wrong? You broke contact.
Spartan: Contact? I didn't even touch you.
Huxley: Don't you want to make love?
Spartan: Is that what you call this? Why don't we just do it the old-fashioned way?
    Huxley: NO!
    Spartan: Whoa! Okay, calm down.
Huxley: Don't tell me to calm down!
Spartan: What's gotten into you? 'Cause it sure as hell wasn't me.
Huxley: Physical relations in the way of intercourse are no longer acceptable John Spartan.
Spartan: What? Why the hell not?
Huxley: It's the law, John. And for your information, the very idea that you suggested it makes me feel personally violated.
Spartan: Wait a minute... violated? Huxley what the hell are you accusing me of here?
Huxley: You need to leave, John.
    Spartan: But Huxley.
    Huxley: Get out!
Moments later Spartan is arrested for "violating" Huxley.

By the way, that's called satire. Get over it.

Smallville's Lex remains my favourite Lex. <3

Interested to see how he performs. I enjoy watching heavily type-cast actors trying wildly different roles, so I hope he rises to the occasion.

I don't really get the Cera comparison. I associate Eisenberg more with The Social Network and Now You See Me, in both films he plays an arrogant dick and does it quite fantastically. Cera plays a great timid guy, Eisenberg plays the guy who walks all over the timid guy.

Henry Cavill and the Man of Steel cast are reprising their roles. Batman is only being replaced in light of the new joint universe they're trying to make.

I'll be waiting for the previews, honestly.

I have less faith in Snyder than any of the actors. I thought Adams and Cavill were great as Superman and Lois. They were just trapped in a meh Superman movie. If Lex ultimately ends up as something like, say, a tattooed skinhead street punk, that's really not Eisenberg's problem.
