I don't remember if I posted it in this thread or the ASOIAF thread, but I linked a reddit thread that listed parts of the books that matched up with parts of S4E01; it borrowed material from not only ASOS but AFFC, ADWD, and even TWOW. And of course, the writers also added in some of their own things. XD

^ And no Penny either. Not that that doesn't surprise me. Book readers have to think about how different Potter films are from their respective books, and then realize that the show can't do EVERY little touch that is in the books. Otherwise we'd have 5 episodes of just traveling and eating food. Doubtful anybody would be a fan of the show then, eh? You just have to respect the little things that the show DOES include from the books.

I just like watching things that are hard to film. The wedding feast didnt even feel as extravagant as Tyrion's wedding asside from maybe the giant lion head

i agree, the wedding should have been bigger! it is the kings marriage after all.
i loved how the room went silent when joffrey went all joffrey and even his lovely bride didnt agree and started distracting everytime to keep it happy.

im really curious what will happen to Sansa, will she escape this time? will the Fool bring her to safety?
i am somewhat convinced that the Oberyn poisoned him :o he did mention that the Lannisters werent the only ones who payed theire debtd. and he did not hide that he was after a vengeance.

im not sure if im glad or sad that Joffrey is dead. i will definitly miss getting agitated about his cockyness.
