Yes. To be honest there are some films I prefer seeing alone. As much as I like my friends, a couple of them have a tendency to make sarcastic remarks during films and sometimes I'm just "argh stfu I'm trying to watch this."
I am guilty of this. I don't do it in the theatre but at home I will give a running commentary of most movies.
I had no one to go with.
