I think that this'd be the greatest idea ever! The story is simply amazing, and the characters so vividly portrayed! I think this'd make a great movie. There's a love story, fierce action, and a really inspiring theme throughout. This couldn't be more of an obvious game-to-movie port! At first, I was thinking that Alec Baldwin should be Fei, but now I'm thinking Jet Li. What do you guys think!?! Wouldn't a live action Xenogears movie rock? Who'd you like to see in it? I was thinking Kirsten Dunst as Elly. She was a great redhead in Spiderman, right?

Also, I think Leonardo DiCaprio would be the perfect Bart. He'd look so cool in And(whatever his cool gear is called. The Omnigear he has), beating up the fake priests. But maybe he'd be a cool Billy. He soooo has the hair!

totally agree on the kirsten dunstst thing. Citan should be played by the guy from k-pax and the usual suspects.

Kevin Spacey? Nah, I like that guy he word with in The Negotiator, or whatever it was called. Who was he? Uh...I think his name was Samuel Jackson, or sum'n.

I think the plot is too long and complicated to fit into a feature film.

There are so many things going on in the Xenogears world that it would be satisfactory to just take a slice of something going on in just one part of the world and dedicate a whole movie to that.

I'd prefer to see an anime series since, as was mentioned, the movie would have to be either about 30 hours or butchered so horribly it would be unrecognizeable. I've been wanting an Anime series for quite awhile now, they just probably aren't going to make it

Well, the Xenosaga animated series is in full swing right now, so we might see a 'gears anime in the near future.
