Fantasy vs. Science Fiction
Haven't done this topic in awhile but with the Dragon Age vs. Mass Effect thread going on I thought it would be interesting to bring this topic up. So which genre do you prefer more, Fantasy or Science Fiction.
To get around the semantics argument that has occurred in the past on this forum, this is how we'll define fantasy and science fiction for the clarity of the thread.

I love both but at heart I'm a sci-fi girl, I just love me some aliens and robots and I have ever since I was a tiny wee kid raised by die-hard Trekkie parents.
99% of sci-fi is really just fantasy in space anyway, but I'll still go sci-fi.
I think I just about lean towards fantasy.

Harry Potter tips the scales firmly towards fantasy for me.
I've always been more of a fantasy person, and growing up read a lot more fantasy than anything else. Sci-fi has grown a lot on me in more recent years, but I'm probably still a fantasy person at heart.

I like Fantasy Books and Games but I enjoy Sci-fi Shows and Movies more. I mean I enjoy scifi books and games too and fantasy shows as well...
I LIKE THEM BOTH.
I'm more of a fantasy person, I've decided. I really liked Mass Effect, and similar sci-fi works, but there's something about medieval fantasy with a twist that is enticing.
I'm not a massive fan of sci-fi which tries to ram in as many fanciful new tech as possible. I like sci-fi most when it is grounded in deep, emotional dramas, not clinical, techno-babble.
Fantasy for me.

Fantasy for books, Sci-fi for movies/tv shows. Fantasy just works better in books, although sci-fi books aren't bad either.
Fantasy movies on the other hand... (LOTR trilogy excluded from this PSA)
