Well at least I know effective ways to break a fall now. I'm as clumsy as can be so I trip a lot but I've never had a serious injury. So at least I got that from judo

How do you arrest a fall? I know from my (hated) Rugby lessons falling from your leg, to hip, to shoulder is the safest way to fall in that sport.

Well, it basically amounts to making sure you turn on your back and slam the floor with your hand. It sounds silly, but that really reduces the force of impact.

My extent of bring in a fight was getting slapped by a girl once. And I totally deserved it because I sad some really troutty things to her.

Like some other people, I haven't been in a fight since primary school. Although, I wasn't the person being bullied: I WAS the bully. I was very aggressive from about 5-7, always picking fights. I stabbed someone in the head with a pencil once, I remember. I also did pretty poorly academically. Then, in years 3 and 4, it all turned around. I didn't get into fights or into trouble anymore, and I shot up to the top of the class.

Someone hit me in the head with a spoon once. Pencil would be much worse

I was sometimes the subject of physical violence at the hands of nasty little schoolkids at school (got stabbed with a mathematical instrument i believe is called a compasses or some crap, you draw circles with it anyway, also had boiled sweets thrown at my head, my hair pulled and once they tied a strand of it to a bus rail, err lets see: glue and ink poured in my hair, been nipped, tights ripped, some bitch even stood on my hand once)

I never really fought back, too much of a pussycat. Sis on the other hand,she rammed a table into one of them when they started on her! (she didnt kill them or anything just so you know)
