I'm going to say Louis CK. But if Bill Hicks had lived longer and found the mainstream success to be able to release more specials then I'm pretty sure it'd be him.

If I had to say one, I guess I would say Mitch Hedburg. He was hilarious and I saw him live on his last tour, just 3 months before he died. It was obvious throughout the show that he was high though.
Jerry Seinfeld. Saw him live a few weeks ago and he has still got it. Laughed for about 90 minutes straight.
