Well, she is ok, but like pure neutral. I don't like her, but i don't dislike her either. Most of the things I don't like about her were just a result of the story and not the character ( I think the first half of DT is boring and should have used 6.1-5 as more setup instead of speedrunning Zero's character arc)

I like her well enough. She's not my fave character or anything but she's a very solid addition, and I like all the additional lore we got - much of which involves herself - in Dawntrail.

I was optimistic when she was introduced at the end of EW patch MSQ
but there was just way too much of her
i think i could have liked her a lot more if they just like, let the other characters breathe a bit

In the entirety of MSQ, alliance raids, job quests, seasonal events, and collaboration events from 2.0 through 7.1, she has the third most lines. The twins are #1 and #2 and she has almost as many lines as Alisae.

My opinion never changed much even after 7.3 but tbh the 7.1-7.3 story was pretty boring in general and the villain dude is whatever. I feel bad for Wuk Lamat honestly because she is FINE but the story she is part of is just so whatever. I hope that she gets better justice in the future, but considering the extent of better justice we got for the best character Gaius was just 1 side series, I ain't holding out hope. To be fair the side series he got was pretty decent but yeah, wish he got more to do in Endwalker.

I laughed, cried and broke bread with her: at a certain point I stopped looking at her as a character and just sort of bought into her as a charismatic (if a bit clingy and sometimes helpless) budding leader, probably because she was so ever-present in the narrative. She was a mostly pleasant addition to the cast and her presence is certainly felt now that she's gone. I like that I got frustrated that she dragged me out of bed to take me through a tour of the city I had well familiarized myself with in the middle of the night just to earnestly go 'waow peace sure is good, I love this city.' The number of times I uttered "Oh Wuk Lamat "- it was very endearing for me for probably the same reason others can't stand her.

I'll admit I think I liked her most in that last Endwalker patch that introduced her, I really think the writing let her (and just about every major character) down a lot. I kinda found it hard to buy that she was as ignorant of her own country as she was at times but oh well. Trying to meet the story we actually got half way, yeah, I really like Wuk Lamat.
