FINAL FANTASY VII REVELATION FIRST LOOK THREAD

So, its been ... revealed.

Just as I assumed, the title would be either Reality, Remembrance or Revelation, the final title of the trilogy is Final Fantasy VII Revelation. Only fitting for the uncovering of Cloud's past and maybe some more twists I expect to be unraveled once its out.

What have we seen so far?

Vincent Combat, only with the Galean Beast - I am not sure if they will be doing more than the Beast and Chaos. The other two Halloween Monsters might give them some trouble but I hope we will see them.
Cid Combat. The man is way more agile in this game than I would expect him to be. Still no cigarette in sight.

The Highwind - including the party's parachute scene from the original now being repurposed into a full on sky diving feature from wherever
Mideel, Wutai including the Turtle's Paradise
Tifa in the Execution Chamber
The party having arrived at the Knowlespole
Sephiroth's delusions and him as usual toying with Cloud
Cloud's reference to Aerith with the flowers
Ultima Weapon
The new Weapon from Rebirth being attacked
Like on CD2 of the original game Diamond Weapons arms coming out of the crater
Sapphire Weapon and the Sister Ray
Ruby Weapon

Some more familiar characters, combat styles and flashy scenes, including the party fighting Jenova.

And ... the Ultimate Destructive Magic Meteor.

And of course, just as expected, Final Fantasy VII Revelation will release in the year of Final Fantasy VII's 30th anniversary.

Well, what can I say? Honestly, not much so far. We have seen the Feelers/Whispers again. And we finally got the title and somewhat of a release date. It looks cool. That's it. No more and no less. There need to be 1-2 more trailers for it to really think about it.

Looks pretty good! I'll just enjoy the game when it's out, if it's even close to how good Rebirth is, it'll be amazing.

Looks fun. Love tactical mode, should make the combos easier.

Most of my favorite moments were covered in the last game, so we will see how they can keep the momentum going. Just being able to play as Vincent will be worth it.

I didn't even know I was subscribed to the Square Enix mailing list and was a little annoyed when the notification popped up, but then I saw what it was for!
I knew it would be coming out 2027 in time for the 30th anniversary, hope it sticks to spring.
Priorities first,
In the trailer around 1:15 it seems Tifa and Cloud are sporting new outfits, is this hinting we might be able to change their looks?
EDIT: saw that there was a gameplay video right after this and they addressed that yes there's new looks! how fun! cait sith in his little mage costume is everything

I'm excited to play with Vincent, he's going to be a permanent member for me, I think!
Also loved how Mideel looked, really looking forward to that whole part, especially the piecing together of Cloud's memories with Tifa.

Yes, the job class outfits look cool and should hopefully add another dimension to battles. Aerith felt like the only mage type character in the original.
