I know an FFXII Riddles thread was made a while back, but since it was created the day FFXII came out, it wasn't very successful. I've been itching to create this thread for a while-I was waiting for FFXII to be released in Europe-but I can wait no longer. Since a significant amount of people have beaten or far in the game, I could no longer restrain myself.

I think we're all familiar with how these things work. If you're not, go check out the Riddle threads in the other forums. I'll start out with an easy riddle...

to get the object to get to me is a sidequest of sorts in itself - matamune fishing rod
the way to obtain me is very different from the other two - you don't really kill monsters, just fish :D

A monster is a clue to the real answer. The first 2 lines talk about a specific monster.
I suggest looking the word "Guardian" up in the bestiary. Oh and yes its capitalized for a reason. ;)

Is it he pharos or bahamut? When you say the beging and end of glory i think of the pharos because it has the sun cryst and is tward the end of the game and i thought of bahamut b/c it is huge. If it is not a monster, why would it be in the bestary? Man, we need some more clues b/c the only i see when i think of ice is mataus/mt. bur-omisace:mad:

A monster is a clue to the answer. Figure out the monster and the rest should come like a math problem.

The lines about glory are literal. Glory is a synonym for something else.
