I hired him for 3000 gil and then i was training my guys and he leaves after 3 battles!!!! wuts up with that????:mad:

It's random for how long he stays. Sometimes short, sometimes all the way to Zozo.

I hate it when he leaves you before you get to the Phantom Train in Sabin's story. I also hate the fact he leaves before the opera if you try to bring him. He literally leaves before the opera starts so you're stuck using two characters to stop Ultros (Not that he isn't easy to beat...) and then go to The Empire with only three people...

Get used to it. Until the WoR, you wont ever get to use him for good. But that, I think, is the only time he randomly leaves whenever he feels like.

Do what I do. After getting him on your team, save your game. If he leaves, then reset the game

Run away from battles.

When you flee he won't leave your party.(Works for me because he can't earn his part of the gil that way)
