Another Video Editing Software thread

Whenever I chop up an AVI with AVIDEMUX and try to play the pieces on my PS3, it says the data is corrupted. I have no idea what else I can say about that. xP I'd like to try another program. All I want to do is basically crop a few videos (as in, take one scene from a longer video and play it on my PS3). Ease of use is a big factor. :P I'm not really interested in doing a lot of intricate video editing.

try virtualdub/virtualdubmod maybe :p I can only guess when avidemux is chopping the video, it is literally chopping it and not bothering to reindex what's left so it confuses some applications and not others :p

Alright, I'll try and get my hands on Virtualdub and try it out later. xP
