FORUMS STAFF HIGHWIND AWARD WINNER

I'll make no secret of the fact that I was thrilled when Rantzien was knighted, and that I voted for him for this Highwind Award and for Best Member. And it was a very easy choice, because over the past 6 months, nobody has come close. Firstly, I want to talk about him as a person. I honestly think there is nobody nicer on this forum. He has never said a bad word about anybody. And he'll happily be your friend, no matter who you are.

His willingness to help is unparalleled. We needed FFXII avatars, so he helped me and we cranked out a whole bunch of them together. Site Staff needed some images of FFXIII characters and Rantzien provided them. And go check out the Signature Service thread if it's not something you visit often. Time and time again Rantzien helps EoFFers in that thread. Heck, guess who is responsible for my sig after a request in the Signature Service thread? :shobon:

One of my favourite things about Rantzien is that he will always greet new members in their newbie thread. I know a few people do this, but as far as forums staff go, this is actually very rare and I don't think that's a good thing. Rantzien always being there to welcome them inspires me to do the same and I hope it will inspire fellow staffers if they read my speech!

Finally, a word about Rantzien as a moderator, as you can't very well give out an award like this without it! There isn't really much work of that nature to be done these days, apart from banning spambots. In the Supar Sekrit Staff Foram we have a huge long thread listing spambots that have been banned, and it is a sea of pink because of the amount of times he posts in it. He is one dedicated dude.

To round this off, congratulations, Rantzien. You are the best we have and you are one of the coolest dudes I know. :)
