Blame this on Wesley whining that I don't post enough.

◀Help me out!▶

You know how in Jeopardy you get the answer, and then you have to guess the question? This is something like that. I'm asking a question. I'm asking it right now. The trick is, you have to answer without knowing what the question is. The fate of humanity may very well depend on it*.

I'll tell 2 people the answer so that I can't be accused of changing the title after the tune's been played. Their names are "myself" and "I." Interesting people.

*it doesn't.

My answer is the correct answer to your question. I'll tell 2 people so I can't be accused of changing my answer after the question is revealed.

Eye caramba.

Eye did tell someone thee question, four thee record.

This thread is now about puns.

My own tale is about a planet far away, where a 3 mile tall, granite-like lifeform was discovered. It was clearly alive -- it breathed, had a pulse, and generated body heat -- but it never moved. It has legs, but never rises to walk on them. It has a mouth, but never eats or speaks. It has what appears to be a perfectly functional brain.

This puzzles the hell out of scientists, who do everything they can think of to make it display a sign of life, but it was all in vain until the day that a xenobiologist cried out in frustration, "How could evolution give legs, a mouth, and a brain to a creature that doesn't use them?"

It happens he's the first person to ask a direct question in the thing's presence. It rose to its full height, scattering the clouds, thinks for a second, and booms "IT COULDN'T"

"Great scott!" exclaimed the xenobiologist, "It only stands to reason!"

I do know the question, and it looks like Bleys's expectation of an affirmative answer is more and more accurate.

Revelation time: The question was "Are you all hopped up on blow?" and it would appear the eyes have it.
