Grind-lover Playplan: Useless?

It just seems so much easier to get experience bonuses in Hardcore mode. Am I getting anything in return for sacrificing treasure? :|

Level up in this game is way to easy, they should have make it till level 999 or something..

Yeah, I just EX Death'd Ultimecia to 100 and Tidus I did without any tricks xD

The trouble is that Lv100 player characters are rarely on an even level with Lv100 AI without the right gear so really getting to that 100 mark is only half the battle.

Its great until you unlock the black chocobo, though the item you get for completing Hardcore is better if memory serves me correct. By end game, once you've unlocked a good chunk of the game, only Black and Fat chocobo are useful.
