These codes are 100% real! I tested them myself, using GameShark version 4.11a!
Make sure you have Vincent set up like Sephiroth, Materia, Armor and Accessory
before anything else! I'll explain step-by-step what to do to use Sephiroth
outside of Cloud's flashback.

To get them to work:

1. Experienced GameShark users can explain everything about code entry and whatnot.
Enter all the codes above into your GameShark.
Turn only the "Saved Game Checksum Bypass" and "Have Masamune - Item Slot 320" codes on.
Follow the on-screen instructions to play FFVII with the cheats active.
Load your game, save and reset your PS without the GameShark active.
Then play the game until you get Vincent in your party.


2. Once Vincent is in your party, make sure you have all the Equipment Sephiroth had (Gold Armlet and Touph Ring) and all the Materia he had Mastered: Fire, Ice, Lightning, Earth, Revive, Restore, and 3 Alls.
You will have to play until you get a Touph Ring. Note: Make sure to steal at least one Touph Ring from Reno for this to be perfect, otherwise, you'll have to cheat to get it!
Finally, make sure the Materia are all in the exact same slots.


3. Save the game with this set up, reset your PS again, with GameShark, and activate
"Saved Game Checksum Bypass", "Sephiroth Replaces Vincent", "Vincent's Name is Sephiroth" and "Control Sephiroth (In-Battle)".
Follow the on-screen instructions to play FFVII with the cheats active again.
Play the game with the cheats active.
Now enter a fight and see for yourself! ^_^
(Use PHS to put Vincent into your party, the second character slot, and change the equipment through him. Leave the Masamune where it is when you Equip it to Sephiroth.
Doing this also corrects the missing character portrait to show Sephiroth).


3a. If you really want this to be Sephiroth, because he'll have Vincent's name after using these codes, use the above code to change his name to Sephiroth.
Make two codes; one to change Vincent's name to Sephiroth, and then another to change it back to Vincent.

3b. I only haven't tested the Limit Break codes. I'll leave that to you all to test them out
and discover what they are. ;)


4. To get Vincent back when you're done playing with Sephiroth, use the code
"Vincent Replaces Sephiroth" (if you saved while "Sephiroth Replaces Vincent"
was still active). Also use "Vincent's Name is Vincent".

WARNING!: Do NOT use these codes during events that involve Vincent!
This may cause the game to either freeze or crash.
However, you can actually use Sephiroth in a fight against Safer-Sephiroth!

Lmao. Trust me, I respect Sephiroth so much more now that I know his whole story. I've only played FFVII and seen Advent Children, but was still confused about certain events leading up to the the final battle of FFVII.

I remember messing around with Debug mode and having Sephiroth in my party. I couldn't control him and if I switched him out of my party he became another Barret.

I've used Debug before. But I don't have one of those GameSharks that you plug into the PS and can turn off and on. So I can only talk to that person and give myself Materia and get into fights. :p

There's an ISO code that lets you put any character that's playable; Aerith, Sephiroth, Young Cloud, etc... but when you enter a battle with Sephiroth and Young Cloud, they'd die at the beginning of battle.

That's when I discovered the actual codes to use Sephiroth. o.o

I hope these codes are all useful to the Sephiroth fans out there. ^_^
