So, I just got Netflix today, and I'm kind of watching stuff like an autistic child who's just been giving candy in a video game arcade.

What do you recommend?

I marathoned all of Doctor Who on Netflix. Also watched Battlestar Galactica, Torchwood, and Merlin. I gravitate toward scifi/fantasy stuff there, though.

Make sure you watch at least the first two series of Doctor Who before you start Torchwood. I can't remember if the latter gives away any plot developments for the former but it probably won't make much sense unless you're already familiar with the Whoniverse anyway.

I can't remember what else is on Netflix but I'll go through my list of favourite shows later and look.
