Hey, i was reading about the bit in FFVII when you have to meet up with your "secret love", as in, who you are nicest too. So, who is the best to pick?

Dude, this is Barrets wife. Okay, a better choice(she's pretty awesome), but seriously! You are going to get pounded by Barret!

Aerith:
Much better. Not anyones wife, but, unfortunately, she is a weakling. She is an embarressment. She exists only for Cloud to wake up in the church to.

So, pick Aerith!

Barret is definitely the best because of the amusement factor. Tifa is not Barret's wife. And you completely omitted Yuffie.

So yeah, I think Barret is the pick to go with. :D

I definitely like Yuffie or Barret's date more than the standard Aeris or Tifa. They're a little more canon what with being the easiest to get and all that.

Barret, cause its hilarious, or Yuffie. As said before, the dates you get here are just more unique than the standard stuff you get from Tifa or Aerith, as they are both love interests for Cloud.

Oh and Tifa isn't Barrets wife. She's far from it.

God, that was the one thing I despised about that fanfic. I'm sorry, but no. Also the fanfic where Tifa got together with Reno. I mean, it's a little more believable 'cause he's a bit of a player, but, seriously, it hurts my head. Aside from that, you've got the fact that Rude is the one who expressed interest in Tifa in the game so why would Reno get her aside from the fact Rude comes off a bit like Raj Kuthrapoly.

I wish there had been more dates available for experimentation. I think that should be a part of the remake. Dates with Vincent, Nanaki, Cait Sith, Cid, Rufus, Reno, Rude, Elena, Jessie (proving she survived), a Honeybee, Squall, Quistis, Zidane, Ashe, Balthier... :p

I always quite liked the Yuffie and Tifa dates. The Barrett one is hilarious, certainly. I quite like the sweet moment when Yuffie gives Cloud a kiss. It doesn't really fit in with the rest of the plot in the same way the Tifa and Aeris dates do, but I think that's one of the things I liked about it - it was a nice side moment, away from the storm of the main plot, so to speak.
