It's not even that I mind playing as a male character; so many games default to that, it would basically kill gaming if I did. Heck, even in FFXIV I have a relatively high-level alt that is a male character that I play for story and use as a second bank. It's not that I dislike it, just that if I'm getting invested in a story like this, I feel a bit more self-inserted playing as a female. And in a game like Persona where all of your character's dialogue is chosen by you, that sort of feeling extends.

P5 re-release with female option to romance Akechi when pls thx

I’d assume you could get a PSP cheap nowadays - unless you emulate it or use Vita/PSTV, that’s the only way you can play and persona as a girl sadly :(

That is of course aside from P2 Eternal Punishment where you play as reporter Maya Amano but that’s kind of a different thing completely ;)

Oh yeah, Golden changed some voices so I can’t remember his original voice - but I can do an incredible impression of his Sam Riegel voice! Also, Chile had her voice changed and yet that choice was much more controversi

Yeah Teddy is a creepy dude. His voice acting grew on me though. At least enough that I didn't mind it for long.

Okay, I'm finally actually giving this a real replaythrough. Working on getting all of the achievements, so I'm dating everyone. I really wish there was a way to reach max rank with the ladies without cheating on them. That said. I'm also kind of enjoying cheating on them. xD

Yusuke is my favorite on this run.

Okay, so it seems you actually can get max rank with all confidants even without romancing them so LOL

Yeah, ever since P4 you can actually reach max rank as friends. They later reintroduced this feature into the female path of P3. You still need to romance a girl to get to max rank with her in P3 as a boy though.

-Tartarus is fucking awesome
-This game is creepy as hell, and I'm really enjoying that. The claustrophobic darkness is Tartarus is amazing. The simplistic music. I'm digging it.
-Wow, this game does not hold your hand or really give you any hints about what to do next. Interested what the story might be.
-I wanna fuck Mitsuru
-This game is so much better than Persona 4.
