Did you stumble across any Easter Eggs while playing the Remake?

My favourite one is in the Shinra Building where there's a photo of the construction crew and staff of early days of the company and the first Mako Reactor.

Idk if it counts but my favorite so far is the actual use of the weird claw things seen in OG sector 6

Nothing comes to mind immediately. There are plenty of references to the compilation for the patient observer. Hojo mentions SOLDIERs "Types S and G." That tickled me. Corneo has the three tiaras that would originally make up Cloud's dress. Gotta say, I'm disappointed by that segment. I was really looking forward to seeing how those classic components would have went together in fully detailed graphics.

A little one: the radio terminals used to switch parties in Hojo's Lab are labelled "PHS". Made me smile.

Another cute one is that in Seventh Heaven, two of the photos on the wall in the kitchen area are the pre-rendered backdrops of Seventh Heaven from the OG.

Don't know if it counts as an easter egg but there seems to be a reference to the Sleeping Forest "dream sequence" right after Cloud hands Seph the Black Materia. Aerith appears in her flower garden the night before Cloud, Tifa, and Barret ascend the plate. Cloud knows it's a dream, yet he debates her decision to return to Shinra all the same. Of course, sidequests determine this happening in Remake.

Edit: I also noticed that Twin Stinger is a redesign of Ragnarok with some influence from the Organics blade or Apocalypse tossed in.

Iron Blade seems to be a reworking of Mythril Saber despite that same weapon also being available.

I don't know if I'm correct or not, if it even counts as an Easter Egg, but I thought Chapter 10's sewer section vaguely reminiscent of Final Fantasy VIII's sewer section as well (right before the assassination attempt on Edea) — mainly due to the music. Am I the only who felt this way?

I thought about Icicle Inn every time I saw the "Clear Icicle" vending machines. Unsure if that was intentional, or if it's just easy to associate icy things with icy places.

I thought about the Deling Sewers during this part, as well. I'm sure it was completely unintentional, I don't even think it was the music for me, but the slim, wrapping around gated corridors made me think about it.

I just noticed the propeller. The helicopter on top of Drunkard's is a shoutout to the propeller you need a battery to operate while scaling the wall up to Shinra.
