1/2 of Gen Chat is spam and the other half is spam. If we had post counts, it would reduce spam by 50%

I suppport post count being seen. Or at least just tell me two things:

How many posts I have, and the "average post per day" it says for me. Thanks

I guess I could always disable posts counting towards your total in all forums, tell the board to recalculate all postcounts, then make them visible again - that way it'll still be stuck on 0 for everyone :D

However, I can think of one functional side effect of that on the forums, but I'm sure people won't mind what that is :p

That makes searching work all screwy, I'd assume. I never did understand why there would be a problem with postcounts until The Man showed up and outposted everyone in a few months. Bleh.

I was referring more to the "you need at least one post to have a custom avatar" here, I don't think posts in postcount-disabled forums count towards that :p I might be wrong though :p
