Problems with the pc version! Help PLEASE!!

Hello,
Iam new at this forum and I hope my English isnt too bad ;)

I have a big problem with FF8! At the moment when the two Gardens should start a fight to each other (disc 2 ), by me it happens nothing! A friend told me that the 2 Gardens start a fight automaticly when I enter the Island. I cant even enter the house on that Island and the tower too.
The friend told me that he had the same bug and he started the game from the beginning. But I have played it for 70 hours and I wont start it again because I spend so much time to it. As I said I flew to the island where the garden is over the forest. I fly toward it and the when the fight should start nothing happens. I installed the game new but the same bug (?) again! Has someone problems with the same bug? :confused:
Please help me, I want to finish this great game!

Well if you have installed the game but the same bug,i'm afraid that you have to start it from the beggining.

You drove Balamb straight into Galbadia? It activates when you get close enough.

Hmm...Iam afraid that it is a kind of saving-bug or something. I can fly INTO Galbadia but nothing happens. I pushed every button, nothing...
Maybe I forgott something...I was at the destroed Garden and there was that Event where the heros remembered their past. Then they say that they would like to see their old home. Then I flied to the island and then there is that bug. Maybe I forgott something? Help me please and thx for helping.

Yeah.I forgot that.Jolts right,you should go there first.

You have to walk into it. Don't try ramming it with Balamb Garden :lol:.

Also, you have to go through the front gates (where there'a an openning) to go into it.

I walk to the front Gate, but I only walk on a wall. I cant enter the house even the Garden.

E-Mail SquEnix and yell at them for bugs in their game and they might offer to fix it for you, or tell you how to fix it.

By the way, don't call them SquEnix. They're actually Square Enix, but I'm too lazy to type all that out every time I refer to them.

did you find a solution for that? cause i'm experiencing the same problem now. how did you solve that?

you cant enter edas house you have to use the selct button squall will say he rembers some thing about it then you have to fight garablidia garden

actually i just found on this forum another post which explained the cards bug (a bug concerning too many cards of red bat bite bug and blobra)
i removed them and now the game is working properly again.
