marching game in junon

you know that marching game that you have to get in the back of the line... is that mandatory for the game/ because i cant seem to get it right.. :cry:

Yep, you've got to do it.
When the commander tells you to charge, start running straight away. Run to the back of the marching troops, never around the front of them. Once Cloud's in position, immediately let go of the 'run' button and then tap O to make him shoulder his rifle.

You can do really poorly, it doesn't matter much. When you get into the line and march, you get an item depending on the television ratings.

Later, when you perform for the president, you get an item depending on his mood. I think.

So no, it doesn't really matter.

PERCENT NAME TYPE
1% - 21% = Grenade Item
22% - 39% = Potion x6 Item
39% - 50% = Ether x6 Item
51% - 99% = 5000 gil Currency

(note that this chart isn't 100% exact...)

And for performing Rufus
SCORE NAME TYPE
000 - 050 = Silver Glasses Accessory
060 - 090 = HP Plus Independent Materia
100 - 200 = Force Stealer Weapon (for Cloud)

It took me 10min to do it...15 with the dolphin... i kept for fun getting cloud electrocuted.....no wounder why he gets so confused easily...i finaly gave him ribbon....how'd i get that again??? 0.0 WAI!!! I can't remeber!!!! oh yeah well....I gots to the 3rd disk in one week! all my ppl are at lvl 69 and up and have over 6,000 hp..

I had such a hard time with it, then I noticed if I kept hitting O, for some reason the ratings went way up, even I wasn't keeping in time with the parade. That was the only way I've gotten 5000 gil.

oh yeah!! did heidigger knock you out? i figured out how to avoid that. you block it by pressing either left or right and you'll block it *tested and approved by me*.

Heidegger? Man, I must not have played in a while. He doesn't knock you out. Maybe you're thinking of Scarlet @ Icicle Inn. You really do get knocked out if you let her punch you and you don't step out of the way.

yeah the marching game is quite hard though but i think i got it on my first try or my 2nd but it was quite hard :tongue: :tongue:
