Were do you get pulse ammo on disc 4? anyone help?

Ive been playing final fantasy 8 a lot recently and i am on disc 4 now.i am trying to get the lionheart weapon for squall but cant seem to find the last item,pulse ammo.i was wondering if anyone here knew were to get it. :confused: :confused:

You can get hold of Pulse Ammo in two ways. Both will probably take some time though.

1. Fight enamies that drop or you can steal Energy Crystals from Like Behemoths, Ruby Dragons. Then use the AMMO REFINE ability to change them into Pulse Ammo.
2. Play cards and win Elnoyle Cards. You'll need 10 of them to make 1 Energy Crystal. Again use AMMO REFINE to make the Pulse Ammo.

Actually, you can use Ammo-RF on Energy Crystals, Laser Cannons, or Power Generators to yield Pulse Ammo. Unfortunately, the other items are no easier to get on Disc 4. Belhelmels drop Laser Cannons (rarely, but they do) at levels 30+. Mug a Blitz at level 30+, and it might have a Power Generator (again, rare). A Laser Cannon gives 5 Pulse Ammo, while a Power Generator becomes 20. Both of these are also Blue Magic items for Quistis, teaching Homing Laser and Ray-Bomb, respectively. You should have gotten at least one Laser Cannon from Mobile Type 8. If you didn't use it on Quistis, turn it into Pulse Ammo. Good luck.

Try this: Equip bahamut with his Rare item ability. Then head to the island closest to hell for some good old leveling up. Every now and then you will encounter ruby dragons. Hopefully, with Bahamut's rare item ability they will drop energy crystals.

Also, the easiest way to get energy crystals is on disk three, in esthar. Go to the place with the crazed soldier, talk to him, and fight the Elnoyle. I can't remember if he drops energy crystals or if you can steal them, or both. I just remember it is the fastest and most efficient way to get them withot using up your rare blue magic items.

Yeah, but he said he's on Disc 4. So I thought he doesn't have a Disc 3 save/doesn't want to lose a Disc's worth of progress.
