I think it's a better sound track than any other game out there. What do you think? You think the same or different? :mad:

I don't think it's the best soundtrack out of the series although it does have some outstanding features. The best things about the Final Fantasy VII soundtrack were the musical innovations it brought to the series, namely things such as One Winged Angel's non-synthed vocals and overall audio quality that had been impossible on pre-32 bit consoles.

Theres some good songs on FFVII soundtrack (eg: the bombing mission) but i prefer VIII, IX, X, VI and even Vs soundtracks to this one :eek: . Well now that i think about it, perhaps not V :D

I AGREE! But I can't say anything bad about the other Final Fantasy soundtracks since I never heard them before.

The only other good game sound track out there was for the grand theft auto series. But I still like Final Fantasy 7 soundtrack better. Is there any web site to down load the full version of the MP3 of the whole soundtrack? In this web, most songs are not full. :(

Damn Right FF7 has the best Soundtrack, athough other FF's have some good tunes i think FF7 as some classic tunes that everyone will remember! eg Aeris theme

I really like FF7's soundtrack, although the quality of some of the tracks could have been better. None of the other modern FF games (FF6-10) have as many interesting and unique pieces IMO.

I never heard 6 or 8. Final Fantasy 8 was overated in my opinion. I will play both eventualy. But for now, FINAL FANATSY 7 ALL THE WAY! :D

FFVII has a good soundtrack, but i like VI, VIII, and IX(especially IX!) much more. in fact, when i listened to the soundtrack without playing the game, none of the songs seemed too amazing, but it is how they are implemented, like the aeris music during the battle after she dies(genius)

Better than any other game? Nah. The Suikoden series has the best soundtrack. I also really like Lunar SSSC's music.

On the topic of FFs: FFT's is good, too.

The Final Fantasy XI OST was composed by Nobuo Uematsu, Naoshi Mizuta, and Kumi Tanioka. Admittedly, Mizuta composed most of the tracks, but Uematsu was involved. I felt that it was a mediocre OST, actually, minus the pieces by Uematsu (of course). Mizuta has yet to impress me.

I'd say that the FFVII OST is my third favorite video game soundtrack. I preferred the music from FFVI and Chrono Cross personally, although I feel that the music for FFVII best fits the game (as opposed to other OST's fitting their own respective games). One Winged Angel is probably my favorite FF piece, just ahead of Liberi Fatali.

Chrono Cross' soundtrack is amazing.

All FF soundtracks are great (I downloaded some 8GB torrent file that has every soundtrack, except FF7:AC and FFXII). Simply amazing, even has some cover songs from other bands. Anyways, there's always some bad point in each soundtrack, but overall they are all great. ^^

I think all the FF soundtracks are good, but FF7 stands out above the rest. I agree with Omecle that every soundtrack has a bad song or two. And Jeebus! Some of you need to learn grammer and spelling! Sounds mean, but its true. And believe me when I say that people will get a better sense of what you have to say if its good English.

But it's really a matter of opinion of people. People like what ever they like. I like FF7 OST best and other people may like FF6, FF7, FF8, or FF9 OST better. I cant do anything to change there thoughts.

Haha, how can you think VIII is overrated if you haven't played it...?

FF7 is my favorite soundtrack. I think all of the Final Fantasy's have a few very good pieces that stick out, but I like the ENTIRE FF7 soundtrack. It has many excellent pieces... coming to mind are Aeris's theme, One Winged Angel, Interrupted by Fireworks, Holding my Thoughts in my Heart, Mako Reactor, You Can Hear the Cry of the Planet, Temple of the Ancients, Turks' Theme, and so many others. None of the other soundtracks, IMO, have as many songs that are THAT good. Always some, sure. But VII wins.

Though I'd have to say my second favorite soundtracks go to either VI, IX or X.

I read a guide for it and it sucks. But will buy maybe one day that it sells for..........10 CENTS! Not worth my money but there alot of them at my best buy and only for $15.

Its a really great soundtrack and its easy for someone to call it there favourite as the music in it is all round great.

Chrono Cross' soundtrack is amazing.Like most of Yasunoris soundtracks there are some really great songs but theres ALOT of mediocre songs.
