I have a blister on my heel. I don't like it.

How do you guys treat your blisters? I make my daddy pop mine. For a long time, and this was just last year people, I was afraid to even do that, because I thought it might hurt. He did poke me too hard with his knife at one point, but my blister squirted on him so I felt revenged. Is that the right word to use there?

Andy way, do you pop them or do you let them be until they go away?

I let them be. Basically they go down by the next day and are completly gone by the next-next day :D

Let them be. Put a bandaid on them with some cool neosporin

I usually don't do anything to them. But I do cry about them a lot when I have them.

moleskin surrounding the blister is the way to go. You shouldn't pop or put direct pressure on a blister.

I leave it until it goes away like the wuss that I am.

Why?

because that way the blister will heal without becoming an open wound that is prone to infection.

Larger or painful blisters that are intact should be drained without removing the roof. First clean the blister with rubbing alcohol or antibiotic soap and water. Then heat a straight pin or safety pin over a flame until the pin glows red, and allow it to cool before puncturing a small hole at the edge of the blister.
I DON'T KNOW WHO TO BELIEVE!

Where can I get moleskin, anyways? What does it do to help? *curious*

you can get moleskin in the from drug stores and maybe shoe stores. moleskin is soft and feltlike. You cut a round piece with a hole in the middle and use it to surround the blister. It cushions and prevents direct pressure on the blister, and with moleskin a blister will slowly go down over time and disappear. although I guess if a blister is huge popping it is better.

I have one on my foot right now from work and it's making me upset.

But I'm letting it be, cause I don't want to touch it or look at it or make it bleed because it might hurt. A little.

OMFG I HAVE A BLISTER ON MY HEEL TOO!

And it's popped. And it refuses to heal. I had to wear my slippers out today 'cause it rubbing on my sneakers made me sad. ;_________;

If it's not starting to heal by morning I'm going to punch a baby.

Ah, so rubah has sasquatch feet? I did not know that.

My feet were big when I was growing, but after I reached my full height they shrunk quite a bit. o.O

its dangerous to pop a blister, it might get infected or you might get school sores.

just let them be.

I use lovely blister patches. They have a sort of gelatine on their sticky side that absorbs liquid and swells. The more the blister leaks, the softer the patch becomes and the more protected the skin is. So I make a small hole in it with a disinfected needle, apply the patch and let it stew. It works miracles.

SNAKE! You have a BLISTER! This needs immediate treatment! To heal a BLISTER, press START to go into the SURVIVAL VIEWER. Go onto the CURE screen and hold down L2, then select your KNIFE. You will slice the blister with one quick movement from your KNIFE. You are now safe from certain death. Now go get shot in the face and dig the bullet out.
