In kingdom hearts 1 I cant defeat Sephiroth, why? my atacks are no effective to him

He has an "invisible" health bar. When you destroy it, you'll see his h.p finally start to go down.

Can I finally bet him, My HP was high and When he does that one thing that kills you fast hit him before it gets on you.
And jump and block at times that helps me.

The only way to destroy the invisible health bar is to do what Sora does best: just whack at him. And when he does that thing that nearly kills you, fly away and use an elixer. I hope you beat him!:D

I just beat him today on expert. You dont have to use an elixer, if you hit him before the ring appears over your head it negates it

he whacked me dead on expert mode and im lvl 48 :D!!! its funny i tried cause i wanted to see how many hits he kills me in

When on expert, you should be on a higher level than 48. I did it on about 69. It was still harder than hell!

I finally beat Sephy yesterday after trying for 2 years. You only need to pack 1-3 elixirs if you can strike Sephy before he does Sin Harvest. I recommend being level 90-100, having 100 or more h.p, 13 m.p, and really strong. Don't worry about his ultimate attack, it's stupid and doesn't do much damage. In the battle, cast Aeroga, block, dodge, use Ragnarok, Ars Arcanum, and Strike Raid. Finally, Strike AWAY!

And make sure you don't have too many Combo Plus equiped get the right amount so you can do the critical hit before he disappears:)
