If Final Fantasy VIII was a cartoon series who would you choose for the voice acting cast?I've got two voice actors in mind but I don't know their names...However I do know some of the work that they have done.I would have that guy who did the voice acting for Leon in Kingdom Hearts, do the voice acting for Squall.And I would have the girl did the voice acting for Amy Rose in Sonic X do the vocie acting for Selphie.

Well Quistis would need a British accent and I always imagine Zell as having the same voice as Joey Wheeler form the Yu-gi-oh! anime.

David Boreanaz. He played Angel in the Buffy and Angel series.

I think the cartoon (if released on DVD) should have the option of dialogue boxes so it doesn't lose that FF feel.

Being English, I imagine them all to have English accents.

Rinoa would be voiced my mandy moore(yeah I know wierd)
Quistis would be voiced by Terra Strong
Selphie would be voiced by whoever did Yuffie in Kingdom Hearts
And the rest I dunno

OMG! Freaky, I always imagined Quistis with a good old Brit accent, she has that 'snobby' ish look about her. Zell I really do see as a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Michelangelo voice.

Tara Strong also did Raven's voice from Teen Titans. I think if she put on that voice again, or a similar sounding voice, it would work out quite well for Quistis. But I'm more in favour of Quistis having a British accent.

Natalie Portman could do Quistis' voice because calm,collected,and serene was exactly how her voice was in Star Wars Episodes I,II,and III.

No I'm not obessed with Natalie Portman I just thought that she would be a good actress for the part...Hell I didn't even know who she was until I saw Star Wars Episode I.However I am obessed with Star Wars I love those movies I can't get enough of them.

Cid-as in AC
Edea-a little like Michelle Yeoh in Memiors of a Geisha...?

They're all good choices except for Quistis. I can't ever imagine her with a high pitched cutesy voice, it just doesn't suit her. I think Selphie could be either Tara Strong or Yuffie's voice, who is played by Christy Carlson Romano. Mandy Moore...hmm interesting...I don't know. I think it would be cool to have Utada Hikaru be Rinoa. :grinpink:

From what I've seen in the previews and behind-the-scenes of V For Vendetta Natalie Portman can do a good British Accent...So Natalie could give Quistis a British Accent if she absolutely must have one.:rolleyes2

True, Joey was rather whiny. But then, so was Zell. The characters are actually similar in many ways.
