I think most FFVII fans are over 18. I'm 21 myself. There's too many reasons to list why I love it.

I'm 22, and I enjoy it, but I dont think its the best game ever. I didnt even think that when it came out, and I was... oh, 13 or so.

I like aspects of it, some of the characters, and the soundtrack especially, but I also despised some of the plot, hated some characters *coughAerithcough* and really disliked Sephiroth. I also get pretty sick of the fanbois and so on.

I'm 26 and really enjoy this game. I have a quest going in it right now, which I play from time to time.

Its certainly one of my favorite FFs.

Well im 16 this year but I highly highly think I will still be re-playing and re-playing FFVII well over the age of 18.:D

I was 16 yesterday actually.

Its just I was told in a debate that older gamers dont like FF7. I decided to make the thread here because the debate is on another forum.

If anything, one would think that older gamers would like FFVII, because it was released when they were at that age when they enjoyed gaming the most. It therefore would "hold that special place in their hearts" in a way, (if you want to get mushy about it) because they got so much enjoyment out of it when it was new and was first released.

One would think that the majority of younger gamers are probably drawn to more aesthetically appealing games with fancier graphics and voice-overs (FFX and on), making the games a little more life-like.

When I was a kid, I was so addiced to FF1 and Dragon Warrior 4, because it was new, and was the forefront of gaming. Sure the majority of kids these days might enjoy playing those old ROMS, and even the old PS games like FFVII, but the majority probably don't enjoy it as much as they do the newer games released on PS2, Gamecube, and XBox.

And maybe FFVII is your favorite game........however the majority of young FF gamers are flocking to buy FFX, FFX-2, FFXI, and FFXII rather than FFVII.

For these reasons, FFVII would probably be a favorite among older gamers, rather than younger gamers.

I'm 19, and my interest in FFVII is beginning to wane. I was obsessed with it, but recently I've had no desire to play it. However, I've no doubt the feeling shall return one day.

I'm 24 and FFVII is one of the (very few) Final Fantasys I'd willingly replay. VI is about the only other one. I like industrial slums, and steam punk, and dark and eerie atmospheres. Lots of mystery and thoughtfulness

I'm 22. First played FFVII back in '99, when I was 16. It's still my favourite game of them all, due to the strength and variety of the characters, adn the convoluted and deep plot. I also particularly like the game's blend of science fiction, fantasy and spiritualism.

I'm 20. I'm not too big on FFVII, it was a decent game but it just fell flat with me. Bear in mind I didn't get to play all the way through for quite some time. When I first played it I thought it was awesome, but I didn't have my own Playstation so I could only play it at my cousin's house. After I got back to it years later it didn't really impress me much.
