Six years ago I stood in a library looking for a pc game to lend.
I saw both Final Fantasy VII and VIII in the shelves, I had this stupid logic that the higher the number after the game the better it is so I took VIII.

I enjoyed it so much that I soon lent VII too, and just like VIII I enjoyed it. Then I played FFIX (more or less legally) and I saw it was good.

Two years ago I wanted to play the one game that started it all, FF1.
But I got so used to the graphics of the newer FF's that I couldn't bare to look at it as I played.

Back to the present, I'm now playing FFVI (or III) and it is SO cool!
omg Kefka's laugh, he says such cool things and his evilness is super. Especially the Doma Castle incident, the moving of the 3 statues ripping the world apart, killing General Leo  .

I'm about to enter Kefka's tower so wish me luck!
This might be the best FF.

Discuss, or if you have some strategies for Kefka, please share :D

Kefka's tower...hummm....you'll have to have three parties so put Mog in your weakest party and give him the Moogle Charm, to begin with. Random encounters are nasty. Also put your strongest party on the right because they will have the hardest boss fights.

I don't have the Moogle Charm.
Can I still acquire it? Maybe at the coliseum?

Unless you've found the Moogle Charm and gotten rid it you can still get it. To get the Moogle Charm go back to Narshe and go into the caves where you found Mog and he rejoined your party. Search the spot that he was standing on and you'll find the Moogle Charm.

This is seriously so cool for me!

I love FF6 and it pains me that people refuse to play it because it doesn't have the 3-D graphics you see on newer games. I am so glad that someone is getting this level of enjoyment out of FF6, the best of the numbered series (sorry, but I do commit to liking FFT just slightly more than FF6)

VI is my favourite game ever, and I'm glad you enjoy it. :D I was just telling a friend he should play it. He hasn't played a Final Fantasy before, but would like to. As for Kefka's tower, I usually spam Ultima on everything XD

I like having everyone with quick, giving one person gem Box and letting loose around ten ultima's by the time all my guys are done.

It really is the best of the series, and it is a good thing to see more people are playing the old school games and enjoying it. If the 2-D graphics burn your eyes, that's not a good reflection of your character. Goob job, and good luck.

It's definitely is one of the best, since it's got an amazing story, amazing characters (many!) and cool villains, and lots of summons:D
I actually hated the graphics of FFVII a lot more than those in FFVI:love:

FFVI is pretty tasty, no denying that.

Final Fantasy 6 is my favorite video game period. If I spent the same number of hours learning to fly as I have playing this game I could have a commercial pilots liscense.
