O.O okay, I haven't played through this in forever...but why does FuYoSa(I think he says it) say :



Zemus...or should I say Zeromus!


...Was that supposed to be some sort of revelation? I didn't get why he said it. Okay his real name is Zeromus...so what??

Yeah, adding the 'ro' makes his name include the word 'Zero' which we all know is the fourth best Megaman character.

Does "ro" mean anything significant in Japanese? (I'm not knowledgable enough to know if it does.), or is 'zero' the main symbolism to his new name? ('I'm the final boss who wants to end all of existence!')

It's just zero. There's no particular significance to "ro" by itself.

I never understood what Zeromus is suppose to look like. I know he's suppose to be some undead animal but I don't know what animal he's suppose to look like.

Fusoya doesn't give it to him, Zeroumos anounce the name change himself. Fusoya just said that to try and sound pimpin.

did everyone else think that the blue sphere on Zeromus was like an eye? I recently discovered his head on the right.

another question is... does every body pronounce it as Zero-Muss as in the number 0 then "Muss"? I've always said Zerr-Oh-Muss

Well yeah, that doesn't really help...what is it in katakana? Ze ro ma su? Ze ro mu su? That would help knowing that.

Zemus is the Lunarian villain who FuSoYa and Golbez defeat in the Lunar Subterrain. Zeromus is the manifestation of Zemus' hatred. I don't know why a giant bug would symbolize the ultimate hatred, which is why I prefer the "Mr. Death with a Sword" sprite in FFIV Japanese Eastype. I call Zeromus "zero-wuss" even if he's probably the hardest final boss I've fought in the FF series. :D
