Challenge!

Ok guys, I was thinking about doing either a FF6, FF4 or Mario RPG challenge but then decided that FF6 would be the best choice

I have heard of other challenges but I want to do something unique and hasnever been attempted...

Give me your ideas and I'll try to come up with something good

A challenge where i am not allowed to use tents or stay at inns!

On the other hand...that might not be so challenging...

Never use equipment, any equipment, except when forced to, which means you won't be able to do a few characters specials, such as Cyan, and Celes.

Step on every location in every map that is possible, IE the world map and every dungeon. That's more of an annoyance than anything, but still.

I would say never use items, which you shouldn't, but I rarely ever do anyways. Using no tent is easy, or staying at inns, some places throughout the game auto restore you, you have to sleep sometimes... etc. But I rarely if ever use potions and the like.

idk, I find challenges rather dumb actually, but these are things I've never heard of in FFVI

that's exactly as I expected them to win, many many quick spells. I beat the game using only Cyan in the final battle without even getting hit using Quick. Cheapest move in the game I think, cause it works no matter what.

How about an only special skills challenge and items are for use

The only person who can use magic and fight is Terra and thats cuz of her morph command...

This Makes Sabin the Main healer...and Setzer a main healer as well...i dont know...maybe it will work

how about playing the whole game with battle speed and message speed on the slowest possible level, that would drive you nuts

No Magic throughtout the entire game

Use your weakest weapons throughout the game

Solo Cyan game! You can do whatever you want until you get Cyan, then you have to kill all your characters except him and finish the game. In the WoR you have to find him right after you get the airship, and in Kefka's Tower have Cyan alone. On the final fight with Kefka let your other characters die as soon as possible. Only use Cyan's initial equipment.

This is a little more challenging especially since I am using a computer... Sabin's blitzes=impossible

You can still perform the Blitzes on an emulator, the same way you perform them on a console. They're even easier to do since the directional keys are close to eachother.

bum rush... left left up up right right down down left, confirm... very very easy, on any system ever created

similarly for any blitz, a diagonal direction can be replaced with a straight direction press.

It's not much of a challenge. I almost never use the fight command anyway. Tools, Blitz, Dance, Mimic are all I need.

heres a challenge for me right now- find all of gau's rages or strago's lores i ahve been wrokin on a complete list for both of these for like two months its gettin ridiculous. i almost cant stand the Veldt music anymore

You know that in order for a monster to appear on the Veldt you have to have killed it at some pont, right?

I spent months and got Gau's rages almost full. I was missing about 8 of them.

And even with that many, they still weren't as useful as having Sabin Bum Rush.

Gau only challenge, only he can only have the imperial soldier or marshal for his rage abilities. Do whatever until you get him. Get one of these two monsters, kill everyone else and only use that Rage ability...

To make it somewhat possible, you can use tonics and potions, three X-Potions and one sleepingbag in the course of the game. No equipment restrictions...

i know i like sabins bum rush too but i would like to have a complete game. thats my challenge right now.
