ThanksGaming Month is that special time of year where we give thanks to the games that has come and gone through our lives. From the old days of the Atari 2600, to the current generation of gaming, it's a time of year to honor everything that has, is, and will be. Basically, it's a wordplay on Thanksgiving to give us an excuse to talk about games. It's also the time of year where I like to review the classics from various console generations. So, without further ado, here's the ThanksGaming II lineup! ...
So not long ago I used to be an internet person and did internet person things (internet person:hoodrat::internet person things:hoodrat things imho) but then I didn't have time for that anymore because children. See children are my life now. Not children of mine, mind you, my sister's children. So instead of being an internet person I basically am a slave. I am a slave with teeny, tiny masters who laugh at my misfortunes, who fly off the handle and meltdown based on the fact they ...
Once upon a time, my ex came to town. She made a very lurid proposition and I had to consult my magic 8-ball (read as: everyone here at Eyes) about how to move forward. Well, she came back to town about two weeks ago. Despite the fact that I was close enough to her house on the first day to go and visit (which I desperately wanted to), I decided to fore-go that initial drop-by because I figured she'd be visiting with family. She later told me that her family didn't come to visit her ...
Going to start keeping track in here because why not! So my goal for 30 days is 6 lbs. I think I can do it! I'll record my progress when I have my weigh ins and what have you. Excited and hope I see some progress! In other news, my carpet finally came and I really like it. Now we can move our furniture and unpack some more and things. Exciting stuff Also I cried yesterday because of Katie the monkey, who plays Marcel on Friends, got fired from the show and ...
You know, I always see this blog button at the top of the site and have that odd urge to do something with it. Unfortunately, I am also constantly gripped by the general inability to come up with anything interesting to write about, since, as it turns out, I'm a pretty damn boring guy, something maybe a bit less than facilitative. But you know what's not boring? POKEMANZ! At least, assuming you enjoy the games to any extent that is, otherwise they are, I imagine, ...
I know . I've talked about the concert to death. But I still can't believe I got to see them. X Japan is "that" band for me .. I've listened to their music religiously since 2001- when I was going through a really rough time in life and was being bullied nonstop.. I found their music and it just clicked. I fell in love. And I'd lock myself in my room and put their music on repeat and listen for hours. It was during the time when ...

So some of you may have read my post in the Positive Life thread where I talk about finally having "normal" things. So I decided to take pictures because I am excited! I took pictures of the kitchen and laundry room because they are the only fully complete rooms we have in the house right now (still waiting on carpet and we need to unpack some more stuff) Here is my Halloween bowl (full of ...
Ordered this last Monday and it came in the mail yesterday. I'm now one FF away from owning all of the classics. A hard copy of Chrono Trigger is just gravy. Case, instructions manual, both discs in good condition and play well. It's like buying the game brand new.
Who expects a kebab to taste differently from the last one? I do. Every time I walk into a kebab place, I expect it to taste better than the last one I had. Or even worse, as long as it's a different experience. When does that ever happen? They're all the smurfing same, more or less. Maybe the meat is a bit less greasy sometimes. Maybe the veggies are a bit fresher. It's my friend's birthday. Most of the people left before midnight. I decided to stick around because she's a friend ...
