As you well know, one of the most Fiersome Fiends of FF1 was Kary, the multi-armed, sword blazing, bombshell badass living in the heart of a volcano, a fortress protected by the inconquerable heat if liquid hot magma. Most warriors would rather allow their power to grow throughout the entire rest of their adventure instead of taking the oppertunity to brave her depths when the time is ripe. (SPOILER)Kary was not named after you. Duer to the L/R confusion de la Japonesa, and the fantastic mythical nature of the famous VG franchise, there is reason to believe that this bodacious flaming fool didn't burn up the dance floors with patented Kari capaeura(sp?) - Brazilian Break Dance Fighting, whatever it's called - but instead is supposed to be an 8-bit manifestation of Kali, the Hindu goddess who will overturn the world in fire and water at the end of times before life is reborn. Or, again, whatever the deal is. I'm a little fuzzy on my Hinduism.
