I read Brave New World years before 1984. For me, 1984 was alright in the beginning, got awesome once he started to secretly rebel, but then got pretty boring after he started having sex with the girl.

I ended up reading it and coming around to like it. I'm still nostalgic for 1984 though, so it can't replace Orwell for me.

I really enjoyed Brave New World.
