It was just really important we didn't miss anyone's birthday email. I still get mine every year and it's always a joy.

Aww, Brave New World is supposed to be good, too. But smurf school books. I think....someone I was talking to awhile ago was talking about that book. The name and "confusing" sounds familiar. Are you far enough into it to describe it at all?
  2. In English class we're reading Brave New World. But I haven't actually "read" any of it. I literally fail the quizzes on it.

On my own I'm reading Gravity's Rainbow, which is confusing as hell but still really good.

I AM. Anansi Boys--the first Neil Gaiman book I've picked up in a long time. I don't think it's nearly as good as Neverwhere, so far, but it's entertaining. It's kinda like...there are almost too many things that go wrong. I think that's kinda annoying.

    You? ;D
  4. Wow we are talking some pretty morbid right here. Let's get off the topic of charred bodies.

    You reading anything right now?

Holy :skull::skull::skull::skull: I didn't even know it went higher than third-degree. Curse the cavemen. :(
  6. From Wikipedia: "Burns that injure the tissues underlying the skin, such as the muscles or bones, are sometimes categorized as fourth-degree burns. These burns are additionally broken down into three additional degrees: fourth-degree burns result in the skin being irretrievably lost, fifth-degree burns result in muscle being irretrievably lost, and sixth-degree burns result in bone being charred."

    Imagine SIXTH DEGREE burns everywhere.

Ugh. Just like, a teensy tiny first degree burn on your finger hurts like a bitch. To me anyways. Imagining third degree on your whole body. It almost makes me want to kill myself, just to make sure it never happens to me.
  8. Oh man Kristina you are just smurfing brutal. You're right, I don't know what can top burning.

I dunno...burning alive gives drowning a run for its money. Oh god.
  10. I think the worst way to die would be drowning. I vaguely remember someone saying you experience a crazy euphoria right before you die of drowning though. That could be a pretty kickass way to kick the bucket if it's true.
