Oh right, that's pretty interesting! What age groups/levels do you teach?

I'm working for a private institution (not really a school, other than that we teach), and our curriculum is really good. I've got absolute freedom in how to teach everything, but it's very structured in what I'm teaching.

Oh man, majiang is the best! You should definitely try to play it. I have a blog, but I haven't started it yet. Not had the time mostly, and when I have had the time, I've not had the motivation, haha. I started work proper on Wednesday, though! On Saturday, I'll be teaching a reading and writing group, as well as a TOEFL group. smurfing ace. Which textbooks does you school use? We use Hip Hip Hooray and Side by Side. Damn good books, those.

Ah, I know! I realised immediately afterwards, haha. Best thing is, I was chatting to a newer teacher about the uses of ma (to demonstrate the tones), and I explicitly said that it's used for questions. xD

I am the smurfing KING of majiang! I cleaned house today!

One of the teachers here is going to Thailand in a week, and he just revealed to me that he's been saving up for hookers. As many as possible. xD

For the next two weeks, I'll be working 5 hours every day. Doing basically nothing. I'm to be the white face of my school, and will test kids and maybe do activities. But nobody comes in because they're only there for the festival. It is beautiful here, though. I just wish I could maybe have a few ciders in the sun!

Ace. It's great. My fridge is broken, though, so shopping every day is quickly becoming a chore. xD
