actually saying that one of the first things I did when I played skyrim and went on my first explore was mission to Solitude, and when i came through the crappy marshes and just looked up for the first time and saw it from below on a misty morning, that was probably the coolest thing i've seen in a game. so idk. RDR still wins tho, the whole thing is more polished than Skyrim, understandably so.

I still think RDR overall is a prettier game than Skyrim. Skyrim is nice to look at and all but like you said the sunrises and sunsets in RDR, and the general awesomeness of the desert beats out snow and trees for me. Though, the night sky in Skyrim is the best thing from both games I think, especially when you are somewhere with the northern lights like Windhelm.
