    I've always had mad anxiety - it used to be hidden under a layer of depression, but once that got better it starting rearing its anxious head. Not fun.

    Yeah, I was travelling with a friend who had expensive tastes - I probably would have preferred going to smaller places for a more authentic experience.

    Rome was okay, just... dirty and touristy. Plus I had food poisoning there so that may have coloured my impression somewhat :P

    Yeah I need to exercise more, I think it'll help with my anxiety.

    I went to London, Paris, Rome, Prague, and Budapest as well. Loved all of them except Rome tbh.

    I have! I was there for a few days during my Europe trip about four years back. Beautiful place and it's quite small so it's easy to find your way around. Watch out for all the bicycles though - they seem to be the dominant lifeform there.

    Yep! I'm putting off adulthood for as long as possible. Despite the fact that I'll be thirty in a couple of months.

    Waiting for God is an excellent TV show from the 90s about two people living in a retirement village and causing havoc. Highly recommended. More people need to know about it.

    I've got two years left, I've postponed my dissertation until next year to avoid being overwhelmed :P

    I *guess* I can forgive the British since you've given us so much good television. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm off to watch Waiting for God for the millionth time.

So, as I exited the taxi, I performed my usual check. Nope, nothing has been left behind. Good. I bend over to retrieve my backpack from the back seat and leave. The taxi drives away.
