TV Sound Is Messed Up

I was playing FF8 on my PS1. The sound was working perfectly and it was normal volume. Then, I went away to eat, and I went to shower, leaving FF8. I didn't pause it, I just left it. I came back like 1 hour later and the sound was like 'ZHHHHHHH', you know how it is when there is no picture, but the grey/white lines juust moving up and down? Yeah, that was the sound. I turned the game off and the sound was still there. I switched the TV off, unplugged the cable, and put it back. And the sound is still the same :(

Any ideas on what is wrong?

If it's coaxial, check to make sure you're on the right channel (3/4). If it's composite, try unplugging/replugging again, and also wiggling the cord where it plugs into your playstation. I have that problem with my PS2 a lot. If possible, try plugging into a different input, if your TV or DVD player has more than one set of composite inputs. Sure sounds like a simple loose connection somewhere.

Yeah, I fixed it. It was that little slide up button thing on my PS cable...
