Hm, one of the NASA guys came over onto Mars and created a fake rock? That's interesting.

If it wasn't man-made, then it can't be a rock. If it was a rock, it'd look exactly like the other rocks around itself.

No my point is, if you didn't say "life on mars" I woulda never thought that was a alien. But anyway, where did you get this? I could put a alien looking thing on the ground in the dessert take a picture and do that too ;p

Just a natural formation of rocks or some such. It's simply the brain looking at it and making a common thing into something more, much like the rock they found that looks like a face.

Besides we've been studying Mars for all this years, if there was life on there, it's most definitely not Jawas, it'd be something much simpler and harder to find with the naked eye/telescopes/satellites.

i personally think its someone dressed in a weird alien suit running around the desert to make fake pictures that LOOK like they're from mars. TA DAAAA, mystery solved! :D

More than likely to just be a rock. Sure, a deformed rock, but that can easily be due to climate change. There has been evidence that Mars was once like the Earth. Climate changes from long ago could have caused its unique formation.

Edit: It looks kind of like a guy in a cloak, though. And some of the rocks look like they fold over one another. Perhaps a material is there that could create the idea of a person, but is also the same shape as a rock?

Edit 2: What the hell? The second picture has loads of things that just look like gray piles of pants, and a kitchen floor.
