I wonder if a remake or concept art would elaborate on the true appearance of General Leo. There is an obvious disparity between the character portrait and the character sprite.
The character portrait is basically a 16-bit representation of his Amano design.
I don't think he's supposed to have a moustache, though. It's honestly hard to tell, but I believe those are just his lips.
Muhaha, now that you mention it, those probably are just his lips... They probably couldn't use any other color on the palette, so it had to be the same color as his hair. :pQuote:
