I actually made my own seasoning paste tonight and it smells sooooo good! I hope it turns out nice after all this anticipation!

All the time. I'm really good at any recipe. :smug: I usually need to cook from a recipe a couple of times before I can experiment properly. I'm a troutey baker, though. My god. So bad. They taste great, but I am simply unable to make cakes look nice. :(
Steaks, roasts, curries, soups and stews are probably my top recipes, though. I look forward to trying out some Chinese recipes once I get over there! I've already bookmarked about two dozen recipes online.

I get excited when I'm cooking duck dumplings. It's a very delicate process, and it requires patience, love, valor and honor.
I rarely get excited about cooking, though I look forwards to the moments when I get inspiration to bake.
My best dishes are cooked in the microwave.

I love cooking but I'm too much of a poor to do the stuff I want so right now I'm just experimenting with root veg I guess
