I have long desired a game that focused heavily on exploration, and I must concede that this game is right up my alley. Anyone intending on getting it?
Also, to carry on Gamasutra's question at EoFF - is a game without any functionality short of exploration really a game?
For me, I say yes. The objective is to explore. Is there an end? No. But there's no real end to Hide & Seek, either. Perhaps they should add a Hide & Seek minigame to Proteus someday. ;)
Seems like a great little game, and a fascinating concept, but unfortunately my PC can't even handle the minimum requirements. :(

I like the concept well enough, having explored in open world games that do have objectives. I don't find the visual style of Proteus to be very appealing though.There kind of is.Quote:
