When people say FFX has bad voice-acting, I just say "pity..." because they are ignorant fools who did not listen to the best character in this game or its sequel.

He's pretty much the best non-Wakka character in the game.

I liked the story he told about BraskaxJecht slashfic.
I love Maechen. He's arguably the most lovable NPC in both X and X-2. I genuinely listened to all of his stories because of the hilarity of the reactions of all the characters. He's like the grandad I never had. You could just make popcorn and listen to his endless stories.
My favourite story? I'd have to remember them all again, but the one about Trema was quite good.
I liked the one about Trema too. It's basically a story of Spira transitioning after X up until X-2. I always listen to it at the start of the game.
Maechen should get the Gilgamesh treatment but instead of fighting in every universe he just goes from game to game expositioning.
Every FF game NEEDS that voice in it is what I'm saying.
