Hmm, touphie, well I have 2 answers....
Best of the well known and popular classes: Dragoon (lancer, dragoner, cid etc etc) very powerful and I love their armor!
MY Favorite class but most underated class: Red Mage...I absolutely love this class! Jack of all trades! Why doesnt anyone like this class? :p
Knight from FFI. A swordsman who can use white magic has always been my favorite. The white knight. Holy Swordsman is awesome though.

Dragoon

Dragoons/Dragon Knights/Lancers are still the best, in my opinion. Summoners are next.
any class that weilds claws, lances, and/or gunblades...
i just like bladed close combat! :D
To say which class is the best is hard, because each class can be usefull in certain situatios. But my fav's are: dragoon, blue mage, red mage and ninja
