Dear Bob Hunter,
Thanks for making a go of things, and not making any waves. With more angelheadedhipsters in your area per capita anywhere, it might have been unavoidable anyway, but I'm sure you know how it is. Knew. Did you think it would amount to this, when you skiived off in an old fishing boat? What a funny guy! The things that you see when you are much of a muchness. Because of you, we are taking it personally.
Bob Hunter, 1941 - 2005.

Thank you for making a difference, Bob.

I'd also like to point out that with the death of Amnesty's Founder Peter Benenson in February, we're gonna have to go it together, yeah?

While loving nature is indeed a worthy pursuit, Hunter's founding of Greenpeace resulted in an organization which commits acts of vandalism, sabotage, intimidation via such actions as home invasion, and blocking military ports, as well as splintering groups from Hunter's co-founders that do the same, and supporting the groups that do the dirty work too dirty even for Greenpeace.
It may be that the man has made many, many accomplishments in his life. Founding Greenpeace was most definitely not one of them.
