Besides, I think it's fairly obvious that Tidus isn't gay when it comes down to the story line. You can have your opinion, but I guess in the end, it doesn't matter what you think. Facts are on my side. :p
Did you pay any attention to the dialogue between Tidus and Wakka? especially at the beginning of the game, it's very obvious.
I can still remember the line:
Wakka: Hey. Don't be gettin' no ideas, ya.
Tidus: No promises there, big guy.
And the way it's said seals the deal. I had an idea before that line, but I knew it after that line.
Tidus: Listen to my story. This...may be our last chance...
....

Yeah, that's exactly what I want to hear. Tidus and Wakka making ambiguously sexual comments to each other. But I did find it funny.
